My house has 2 cubbys built into the walls up near the ceiling and I wanted a way for my cats to make use of them. My cat tower didn't quite reach, so I added several shelves using these brackets. The brackets were perfect. They are very strong but look great with the smooth black paint. Not paying attention, I installed the first 2 brackets facing up the wall (see the top two white shelves). These brackets were designed to have the bracket under the shelf going down the wall (see the smaller lower shelf). The holes in the brackets are drilled to allow the screw to be recessed but they work either way.

I used these for a different project they were not use for shelving and worked perfect, however if you are using these for open shelving as shown in the pictures they would only work for small shelving with small items. The pictures are deceiving those are small shelves for knick knacks. They would work good in a box type cabinets, book shelving with small spans.

Do exactly what they should and are a perfect 90 degree angle. Made my custom shelf project a breeze.

I bought this with several projects in mind, ended up using them to try and tidy up the corner of the utility room to make storage for the lady’s “crafts”... Still hanging in there.

The brackets are fine...the screws are a bit fragile...some of the heads broke off while screwing. I found some other screws and that worked well. It's hard to find 3" shelf brackets...so, aside from the screw issue, they do what they're supposed to and I'm happy to have found that size.

Used it to attach flash hotsohes. Had to widen the holes a bit with a drill but they worked great.

These worked great for the bookcase I built for our grand daughter.And put a shelf in a couch table for my wife.Like and feel well built

Strong brackets will support shelves with heavy items. Versatile, can be used with supplied anchors and screws or installed in existing bookcase.
