Women's Casual Short/Long Sleeve Maxi Dress with Pockets

Ordered this for the wife. She is a size 10/12 and 5ft 6ins and we ordered a Medium. A perfect fit - the ideal length and very flattering. The material is nice and light, comfy and the pockets are a bonus. She likes it so much, we've ordered the Army Green as well. We would agree with a previous review about the packaging. This also came in a see through plastic zip bag which was open which was really odd. Apart from that value for money.

1. Fabric: Super soft and good quality.2. The design is good, but the print could be better. It is not very crisp on the piece I received. Not sure if it's the same for all designs. Mine is the black gypsophila. But it looks good whatsoever.3. I am a 5' 2" and the dress is way too long. I can't wear it unless I alter the length.

This is the first time purchasing any item of clothing for myself on Amazon as couldn’t find anything in the shops so thought I’d give it a go. Im very pleased I did. I ordered an XL as between sizes 14/16. I didn’t struggle putting it as it’s quite stretchy unlike some dresses and it’s so comfortable and feels lovely I’m looking forward to wearing it. As it’s a summer dress you can see through the material alittle bit but than you can with most clothes these days but obviously wearing a petty coat underneath will help hide any sins. It’s definitely not like another dress I purchased where it’s completely see through, I wouldn’t even venture out in the garden wearing it!! I absolutely love this dress. I’m so pleased I purchased it. The length of the dress is great and touches the top of my feet despite being 5ft8 so absolutely long enough for me. The pockets are nice and spacious, and has a lovey pattern to it which I thought wouldn’t suit me which I was wrong. I love it so much I’m going to purchase some more of this design.It helps hide my mum tum, 10/10 score from me.

I ordered one of these (pale blue with flowers) and was so pleased I ordered black, green, acid blue and pink floral.I am 60 a size 16 and 5’9” and the length is perfect on me. The green one is a bit longer than the others but I’m going to use hemming tape (iron on) and turn it up.Very comfy and flattering.I haven’t found them to be sheer so not sure how to rate that feature.

I'm 5ft, 6inches. I'm about 9.5 stone in weight. I'm a medium sized dress. Over all it fits as expected. However the bottom of the fabric only reaches top fo my ankles rather than reaching nearer the floor. Looks a bit odd with my shoes poking out. Was wanting something more flowing. A large size would probably reach the floor but would be too big for my body. Thinking up creative ways to add some extra fabric to the bottom perhaps.

I know own 4 dresses in this style now, and I love them so much. The fabric is gorgeous and hangs beautifully. It never produces static and it doesn't crumple while sitting etc. I have got to the age where I want to hide my wobbly arms, and not so great legs! Also I prefer to dress modestly anyway, so its two birds with one stone. I buy XL and this fits perfectly. I am 5'6" and a regular size 16 (UK) The hem comes right to my feet which I love. Indoors I like to be barefoot, outdoors I wear sandals, flipflops or simple pumps, all flatsoled, but you could wear a heel and the dress will be long enough if you are same height as I am. 3 of my dresses have a beautiful all over pattern, and one is plain. These dresses get compliments as they are quite distinctive and make me look elegant, especially as I always wear my hair up.They come in a nice zip polythene bag, and the last two arrived the next day! I think the price is very acceptable too. I recommend them.

A comfortable, easy fit - a size smaller would probably have been fine. It's a little long for me (I'm 172 cm and and M&S size 12 - 14), but would be easy to shorten. The cotton / spandex material is good quality for the price, though I haven't washed it yet to see how it launders. The background colour is more of a grey-blue than expected from the illustration, but the print is light and attractive.It's an easy to wear casual dress for lounging about in, or wearing in the garden in good weather. Fine for tea or coffee mornings at home, and for casual meals not requiring too much time preparing in the kitchen. The pockets are definitely useful. Although it's casual, and too long for travelling far in except by car door to door, it's quite flattering for the right kind of social gathering, especially with accessories as in the illustration.Recommended if you are looking for this type of dress. I should add that although I've often given unsolicited reviews on this site, I was offered a chance to win a £3 Amazon voucher for writing a review of this! No guarantee of winning, though, and I certainly haven't received anything yet.
