These work great for buckets. I used the to make a Dutch bucket system and they where perfect at a fraction of the price of uniseals. But these only work on something that is thinner like a 5gal bucket.

I use these with a 1 1/8' hole bit and 1/2' pvc to make dutch buckets. No leaks or issues with using these in standard 5 gallon buckets and the 4.3 gallon buckets I liberate from a local bakery's recycle bin.

I drilled 1 1/8 inch as recommended in a bucket and put grommet in to realize it’s loose and leaks so I don’t recommend a 1 1/8 drill hole. I do recommend just using a 1 inch drill hole for a nice tight tug with no movement and no leaks in buckets or bins.

What can one say about grommets? Not really an 'exciting' product, but these have proven to be everything I needed them for and more. The seller shipped the product quickly, they were as described and they were priced well. If you need grommets, consider this seller.
