That delivery did not arrive safe. In fact, it arrived dangerous, but the rattling was an effective warning. Perhaps we could have a discussion between departments about what appropriate packaging could be? I guess I'd choose Chutney-style if I had to, but there's gotta be a better way, guys.UPDATE: Researchers continue to discover additional layers of bubble wrap previously hidden from view.

I have purchased Rani Samosa chutney many times from Amazon. It has great flavor that goes great with samosas!! When I got hooked on samosas I thought of trying to make my own chutney but now that I found this brand there is NO need to, because this is perfect! I also am very impressed with the company who really cares about insuring that their product arrives intact. I’ve ordered other sauces etc from others via Amazon and the bottle was smashed in transit. There was no recourse because often food items are not returnable. However Rani packages their bottles extremely well and I’ve never had an issue. This is the ONLY company I will buy this kind of item from, because they go out of their way to insure that everything is well padded and secure. THANK YOU for your tasty items and your company’s reliability!!

How did I spend decades without this mustard sauce in my life? I weep for meals and sandwiches past. It's milder than the spicy mustard I usually prefer, but there is such a depth of flavor that I didn't miss the heat at all. Garlicky, with a strong (but not overpowering) mustard taste with a spicy, even a little salty finish. It's hard to describe, but I've never used a condiment faster. Salads, marinades, in ground meat, with kielbasa, the perfect corned beef companion, I even started putting it on bagel sandwiches mixed in with cream cheese. Just the right thickness for easy pouring. Also, excellent packaging and a decent price. Highly recommended for a new (to me) and very enjoyable spin on mustard.

Opened this bottle just now — the fifth I've purchased over the last couple of years—and it smells, looks, and tastes COMPLETELY different. I was so sure I must have ordered the wrong thing, but nope! I checked my Amazon order history and it's the same thing each time, plus I went through this listing and none of the others are labeled "Samosa Chutney."The bottle has a different image on the front, it's Medium spicy (which is fine, but a change), and the ingredients are completely different.The ingredients currently listed here in the product description are:Sugar, Tamarind, Dates, Water, Salt, Spices (Cumin, Chilli, Fennel), Acidity Regulators, [Citric Acid (330)], Stabilizers [Xantham Gum(415)]).The ingredients on the bottle I received are:Mango, Sugar, Date, Water, Tamarind, Salt, Cumin, Black Salt, Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Acidity Regulator [Acetic Acid (260), Citric Acid (330)], Sodium Benzoate (211) as Preservative & Xantham Gum (415) as Stabilizer.I checked the ingredient lists of the other sauces available from this company, wondering if it was just a labeling error, but none of them have this ingredient list—so apparently the recipe for this sauce has changed. I'm so bummed out; it took me half a dozen tries to find a tamarind chutney that I liked, and while I'm sure this is a fine sauce for SOMETHING, it's not what I wanted for the meal we're having in half an hour.What a shame. Why would you change this? It doesn't taste like tamarind at all now.

It tasted great but so hard to get it out of the bottle. It’s very thick. It’s been sitting in the closet as I haven’t found a way to get it out of the bottle :-(

I really like this chutney. It's not too sweet and it's not too hot. Just enough of a bite to really add a nice flavor to anything you put it on and I use it for different things. I don't particularly like chutney that's chunky and this is a nice, thick liquid. I enjoy it a lot!

It’s okay but lacks in full flavour

There was not a lot of mint flavour in the sample I tried after delivery but then the glass bottle met my ceramic floor and smashed, I will not reorder but only because it’s just too hot for my tastes,

Smaller than i thought, but that's on me because the size is stated. Tastes great out of the bottle, can't wait to try it on a samosa.

Too thick and strange texture formint sauce…some people undoubtedly like it but it is not for me..
