Jarvis's Frayn: One Man's Original View of the World

I am partially sighted so listen to audio books a lot, I loved this one as it is a series of columns that Michael frayn wrote, the time goes by so fast when listening.

Michael Frayn's superbly crafted sketches - originally published as newspaper columns - are brought marvellously to life by the sublime and necessarily versatile Martin Jarvis, who plays 100 characters in the course of a 2 hour programme! The sketches are mostly skits on middle class social morres of the 1960s, but the laughs don't date. If you enjoy the urbane styles of such humorists as Miles Kington and Alan Coren, this is definitely for you.
