SteriPen Ultralight UV Water Purifier, 3 oz

This was invaluable on my trip to Africa. I used it each and every day. I am immunocompromised and have to be vigilant with my health traveling abroad. I wish it worked a bit faster, but otherwise, zero critiques. Excellent product. Worth its weight in gold. I’ll never travel without it!

excellent, would puy same product again for family. YOU need to take the plastic cap off the tip and submerge the whole thing. Has the port with older charger port, trapezoid design.

Took this on a Montana hunting trip, worked reasonably well. Then I trusted it on a backcountry Appalachian hunting trip and it failed. I was six + miles in and it was hot and suddenly I had no way to get water because it had lost its (full) charge. So I attached it to my portable charger and it wouldn’t charge. I would not trust this thing for water acquisition. Get a filter like a sawyer.

I love this little thing, I take it all over the world with me. If I have any doubt about the water quality, I whip it out and make it safe. I've never gotten sick drinking water treated with it.

This sure does work. Water bugs are killed with this magic wand. The blue light turns on once it contacts with water. All you have to do is stock in the glass or water container and just stick in the water and watch it light up. Then just move around in circles and it will turn off to tell you it done. It can be charge in three ways 1. Solar panel charge if your in the open, 2. Battery power charge, 3. House power outlet.

It worked great for 5 months then the charge started getting worse and now it doesn’t even work anymore. No UV light. Red light blinking and green light blinking. Nothing. For 100 dollars this should be working for years not 5 months! Very displeased.

This is a great product and seems to be high quality. It's easy to use, and while a bit on the clunky side, still not overly large. The only downside is how long it takes to work. I brought it with me on a trip through Southeast Asia but never ended up using it, just drank a lot of bottled water instead. If you're in the wilderness, though, I think it'd be a great pack companion. I'd feel safe drinking water after using it.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any way to prove that this product actually works, but I can say when I was out of the country it did provide me with the significant piece of mind, knowing that I could brush my teeth with water that had been treated in some way. I never got sick either so I think that’s a good sign.

Super gadżet 👍

funktioniert gut, ist sehr klein. Wer auf Akkus steht, ist gut bedient. Wer Batterien bevorzugt, muss weiter suchen.

Lo llevo usando años y nunca me falló. Recomendable

Just received today. Can't wait to use it.
