Super easy install, works great! No more hood props.
Easy install, better than new. Prop the hood open first. To remove old support, pry the metal clamp band on top, pull off the support top, repeat for bottom. That easy! Simply push on the new support. No tools required for the install. Support snaps into place. Make sure to check orientation of the old support and replace accordingly. Been putting it off cause I thought it would require a hammer to knock it back in place and I would misalign something but only hand pressure was needed. It fit my 2014 Durango perfectly.

Fit My 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I just installed on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It fits perfectly and installed in less than 2 minutes with just a regular screwdriver. The hood isn't banging me in the back of the head anymore and seems to be very sturdy. There's a few great videos on Youtube to explain install if you are trying to figure it out. Just a clip on each end that has to be pulled out a little with a screwdriver and then pull. To install the new ones, just push on each connection firmly until it snaps in place.

Perfect Replacement Part
My 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee hood hydraulic piston arm broke. I purchased this one and it was a perfect fit and extremely easy to install and replace my old one. I would highly recommend this to others in need of replacing the original arm.

Just what I needed.
When my Jeep Grand Cherokee Hood wouldn't stay up and threatened to cut my head off guillotine style I knew it was time to replace the gas shock. Getting one from a Jeep dealer was not in the cards, their prices are just too high although I admit I did not check out the price of this item there. Amazon had it it was shipped in 2 days easy to install and it now keeps my hood up and I can keep my head!
