Lowreys Bacon Curls | Microwave Pork Rinds | Hot & Spicy | Four 1.75-oz. Packets

My first time trying these and they are extremely good! The taste and quality are so much better than any bag of pork rinds I ever purchased off the shelf at local gas stations. Which is another reason why I bought these because I love the fact that I can have them hot and fresh. I definetly will be buying more. The last thing I will add in though.. is if your on a low sodium diet then you might just want to watch your sodium intake with this snack. And also on the bag instructions it says heat for 2 minutes. Please STRICTLY and CAREFULLY stick to the 2 minute microwave instructions. I made a mistake of thinking this bag should rise in the microwave like a popcorn bag does and I ended up over-cooking the first bag. I put the first bag on more than 2 minutes and burnt the pork rinds. But when I made my other bag of pork rinds I heated it for 2 minutes strictly and they came out perfectly. These pork rind bags aren't meant to pop up like a popcorn bag does. Other than that I have no issues with this purchase.

I saw these about a month ago, but was reluctant on getting them because of the reviews mentioning they are really salty. I finally caved and got them this time, because what do I have to lose? When I finally tried it, they didn't seem overly salty to me. The way the other reviews describe it, I thought it would be so salty that they were nearly inedible. Or maybe I got a good batch? Either way, I actually liked them! The only thing I need to figure out is the heating time, as I have a 1000w microwave oven, and at 3 minutes some pieces were still not cooked as well. (The bag states cooking times may be longer than the listed 1-2 minutes on 500w or 1000w microwave ovens) Though, I think that may be because my microwave is a little small, and I had to keep opening it in the middle of cooking to reposition the bag because it kept getting stuck on the sides and not rotating.

Omg I had no idea how good these pork rinds would be simply Amazing! I only ordered a small amount to try and was blown away. I will never buy in the bag again. Once you cook these in the microwave they are so fresh and tasty. Actually they are just incredibly. I will be ordering a whole box and we will take a bunch of bags with us on vacation to use in the microwave for snacks and we got a jar of Pace salsa and cheese dunk these in the cheese sauce they are amazing and so much better than taco chips. AAA highly recommend

I'm on a low carb diet and can no longer eat starchy foods, so these are my go to snack now when I need something crunchy or something I can use for dips, instead of breads and crackers. The only problem with these is that they are WAY too salty. I have found a way to get around that, though, that I thought I'd share in case others have the same issue. I tear open the bag and pour the contents into a bowl of water. Rub the salt off the pieces and then blot dry them with a paper towel. (You don't have to worry about getting them completely dry...just get all the water off.) Then I put a paper towel on a plate and spread the dried pieces on it and pop it in the microwave oven for 1-2 minutes, watching the pieces closely to make sure they don't burn. They turn out great this way, and it's much better than hoping you can tell when they're finished when they are in the bag, because you can SEE the cooking process.

The product is just fine, however I’m not happy with the delivery person. I live in an apartment building and the package was left downstairs in front of my building instead of in front of my apartment door. Hopefully this weed I’ll not happen again im the future.

This has done for pig skins what the microwave did for popcorn and praise be that it has. I'll never be able to eat bagged pork rinds again - bah! Just thinking about that cold, stale muck makes me wanna tear my snack closet apart in a rage. I never want to be without these precious, crackling pork skins again. What delicious, warm, bacony goodness these little beauties are. Mmmm just thinking about them makes my mouth water. Excuse me while I go pop a bag in the micro! Listen to those babies crack pop and snap!! Get in mah belly! Yummy!

I was so excited to find these as I’ve bought a single pack of the spicy ones and they were great. I ordered 2 boxes of these and both were duds. Not even half the bag gets “popped” and it’s such a waste. I wonder if I got old stock or just a bad batch. I’ve used different micro temps, different times and even tested them at a friends. Same thing. They are super salty, too. So I’ve been popping and taking out the good, then smashing them to use as “bread crumbs” in some low carb recipes.
