This charger has a beautiful design and is surprisingly lightweight. The color I got was the matte black and it looks great. The plastic has a little bit of grip to it making it easier to pull out of the small pockets in my backpack. I haven't had any issues charging my Pixel 2 XL with this, it charges my phone very fast! I will update my review when I use it to charge a Nintendo Switch.

Can't image that a 45 W adaptor can be made in such a compact size and very light. Perfect for travelling. Very convenient for airplane use. I used it to charge my tablet computer. Very efficient and the surface temperature is not very hot.

The slimness of this charger is why I have multiples of these. The 45W is pretty amazing given its size. Slim laptop and tablet sleeves often have a side pocket to stick stuff but the typical charger always seems to bulge these out, making me worry about the pressure placed on the laptop/tablet. Not a problem with this. Works great running my Surface Go with USB-C directly, or with a USB-C to Surface Connect cable. Also use it for mu iPad Pro. I've charged all manner of things but those take the most power. My only wish, which is why the 4 stars is that this thing had two USB-C ports, or even one C and one A.

I bought RAVPower 45W USB Type-C PD GaN Charger in black color from Sunvalley Brands for $29.99 on June 28, 2019. I travel a lot for work and already had an Anker 30W GaN charger (which is also awesome), but wanted something with better design and higher wattage. The Anker charger has a cube-ish design with a non-folding plug that make it slightly annoying, and this RAVPower charger solves both of those issues.USB Power Delivery is quite possibly the best thing that has happened to USB, and I love that I can use this one tiny charger to charge pretty much all my devices (Apple devices, Android phones, Dell laptops, etc.). Unlike the Anker charger, 45 watts is plenty for my needs and this charger is pretty much the perfect charger. I saw that RAVPower now has a 61W GaN charger, but I prefer this 45W version's design over the cube-ish design of the 61W GaN charger.I did have some shipping issues and got the shipment four days late. No idea if that was an issue with the seller or with the shipping carrier, but Amazon took care of me right away as they always do.I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend this charger to anybody.

Update #3:Well I have to give RAVPower their due, their customer service followed up with me immediately and sent me a replacement which works properly. This charger is now my everyday carry due to how thin and light it is. Bravo to RAVPower for a great product and wonderful customer service. I'm bumping my review from one star up to three.Update #2:RAVPower got in touch with me in a timely fashion and offered a refund. I'm glad to see that they stand behind their product but disappointed because I really needed this charger and now have to look for another one.Updated review:The charger is now dead after only 3 uses. This was the first time I’ve bought Ravpower and I won’t make the same mistake again.Original review:Huge issues with this charger. Firstly it doesn’t recognize my USB-C cable unless I plug it in a certain side up, which is ridiculous since USB-C is supposed to work either way. None of my other USB chargers have this problem.Secondly, the USB-C to Lightning fast charge function only works around 25% of the time. Again, with the same cable, it works 100% of the time with my other USB-C chargers so the problem is not with the cable or the iOS devices.I really wanted to like this charger because it’s design and size are excellent. Unfortunately it’s a huge dud and I can’t even return it since I’m overseas.

I absolutely love this thing. The flat design is perfect for the power plugs between airplane seats and perfect when using travel adapter plugs (as most traditional designs stick out too far when using an adapter. It charges exactly as fast as advertised (assuming the device you are using can handle 45W). This is the travel charger I've been looking for!

Works great to charge my Surface Pro 7 and other USB-C electronics. I got it for traveling in order to have a smaller charger for my surface pro 7 and the added bonus of being able to charge my Samsung phone, earbuds and a Ravpower 20,000 mah power bank makes this charger well worth it for me. I travel alot for work and used to bring a few chargers, now I just bring this one charger and one 6ft long Anker braided USB-C cable. When charging my Surface Pro 7 this charger does get pretty warm, but for me it's still cooler than I would be concerned about it. (My gaming laptop power supply gets hotter) Once the battery is charged, even if I am using my Surface with it plugged in it cools down to a more reasonable temperature, so I've never been concerned about it.

I use this with my phone (Galaxy S8) and my laptop (HP Spectre x360). Every time I plug this into my laptop it charges it completely fine but my laptop complains about it not being the included 60w charger. This charger does appear to support quick charge 3.0 which allows it to charge phones quickly. This is a must-have for anyone who travels a lot thanks to its small size and lightweight.Pros: 45w in this small of a package is really cool and unique. Anker has a 30w charger using the same tech but 30w isn't enough to charge most laptops. If you want a smaller charger for your USB-C laptop, this is it. There is a 12-month warranty which I believe can be extended to 18 months, but it isn't clear as to how to do that.Cons: Like any power supply, this unit gets warm while in use, but not concerning so. The real issue is the price. ~$55 for a 45w charger is quite a lot.
