One of the best!
I have tried many different pneumatic random orbital sanders 3/32" orbit, 3/16", and dual action 3/8" orbit sanders and find this sander to be one of the best at removing material and providing a good finish. The 3/8" dual action sanders are better at leveling and removing material, but are harder to control and you have to be careful to use finder grit sandpaper to finish. The AirCat 3/16" orbit with 60 to 80 grit sand paper can remove material quite well and with a liter touch can finish well enough for general (non fine cabinetry/woodwork) use. However the unique feature of this sander is its pneumatic efficiency. If the air flow dial on the sander is turned down to ~1/2 flow it uses much less air and has surprising power compared to all other sanders I have tried, at low air flow. I have a small 10 gal. air compressor which does not do well with heavy loads, but with this sander it can almost keep up.

Great woodworking sander if you have the compressor
I want to start saying that I have a very high end 150mm (6 in) electric sander that has a 5mm orbit with both rotery and Random orbit function that cost 3.5 times more then this sander so I am comparing to that sander not a low end box store unit. The problem I had with my electic sander is that even though it was sold as one sander does it all, and it can, It is very heavy and 2 hand use is a must. After a few minutes sanding my fingers start to hurt and really that beast is to much once you have 100g flattening done. I was looking for a light weight 150mm/6" sander that I can work through the grits without having to reach for the advil that night. The choice was spend $600 on an electric or try a pneumatic. I already have a 3.7hp 60 gal 11.5CFM@90psi compressor so I decided to give it a try. Most Pneumatic sanders require 16-24 cfm and this one reports using much less (more on that later) so I decided to try it.First impressions:1. Very powerful- Even with more downward pressure then you would ever use the sander slows but does not stop.2. Fast- I set up 7 drawer fronts that had been flattened with my rotery sander and 100grit ≈ 14sq feet. I started with 120 then worked to 150 then 180 using 3m xtract paper and the 3 grits took less than 15 minutes to work through marking each board with pencil between each grit and sanding until lines were removed.3. Efficient dust extraction- Doesn't match the festool but minimal dust when using the extractor4. Doesn't match claimed CFM- This is the one and only con. On full speed I was monitoring pressure on a the tank. With constant use the compressor was slowly loosing ground so obviously this tool was using more than 11.5cfm. If I would guess probably more like 12-14cfm range. But with normal working conditions the time to change grits and inspect/scribe boards gave the compressor time to catch up. I don't see myself sanding continuously enough to drop below 90psi as this sander is aggressive enough that it finishes the job before you run out of air.

well made, veery nice tool
I have used high end sanders (Dynafile) and this one is about as good. Light weight and plenty of power. Love it.
