What is its abrasion resistance like, is it suitable for Pole Rigs?

Hi, I can’t speak for pole rigs as I use it as a trout leader with droppers, it has excellent knot and abrasion resistance for that purpose. It has never let me down in the 8lb and 10lb breaking strains and I have used many different brands over the years but this would be my go to line.... hope that helps and tight lines

can the 20lb line be used for hook lengths for sea fishing in the UK???

yeah there is no reason why it cant I have used it with no issues on both sand and rock marks fluorocarbon line is almost invisible to fish so great in clear water sea marks hope this helps

Can this be used as a main line?

When you say a main line, what sort of fishing are you doing? I use it as a leader for fly fishing, normally about twelve feet, with droppers. I don't see why you couldn't use it for bait fishing. I've had good results so far, i.e. Plenty of fish!
