Over the space of his first few months, my anarchist spaniel made his way through a number of beds.Errors we made:1. Beds which were faux lambswool. Look lovely. Until the first time a muddy dog gets in. Very quickly turns into a total mess.2. Beds with piping - obviously this is too tempting not to chew. Cue hole in bed.3. beds with loose stuffing. Following on from the piping, when a bed with stuffing has a hole, the stuffing will be irresistible. Cue end of bed and strange stools from the dog.We chanced upon this cushion / mattress bed, and had it at first in our dog's crate, and then in a large oval plastic bed once we stopped using the crate. We now have half a dozen of them, dotted about in a couple of houses and the back of each car.These last incredibly well (the first of ours has lasted longer than all previous beds combined) and the dark patterned fabric, whilst obviously getting dirty, continues to look smart.The only downside is that because this version does not have a removable cover (which is good news for resilience) they are pretty hard to wash. We put one through the washing machine, and a) it didn't get much cleaner and b) the washing machine has seemed rather more wobbly ever since.With that one caveat, I'd gladly recommend these to anyone who has struggled to find a smart, comfortable, yet durable bed for their dog!

Thought I’d bought it too small (they didn’t have the exact size of the basket base) but once the dog used it a few times it fits perfectly. Lovely quality

Not a bad thing to say about it

I bought 4 of these cushions to rotate between 2 of my dogs (use 2, wash 2). They’re a decent enough size to fit inside their plastic beds, the pattern is nice, and the material easy to vacuum loose hair off.However, while I was initially impressed with the thickness, after a few days they became very flat under the weight of the dogs (mine are 34 and 20kg). It was very striking when I got 2 fresh ones out while the first 2 were in the wash - they looked twice the depth. I have only washed once and while the outer areas fluffed up again, the mid-sections remain flat and the filling isn’t particularly well distributed around the outer areas.Disappointed, and I feel bad for the dogs. The 8kg puppy loves them though!

Cushion is really lovely, I ordered the 35 inch cushion for my medium - large sized dog. The 35 inch cushion actually only measures 31 inches long. I presume it must be 35 inches unstuffed. Disappointed but have ordered the 40 inch cushion which will hopefully measure around the 35 inch mark.....just something to be aware of when choosing!

Seems ok, suffers from the usual problem of going flat after a bit of use but seems nice quality.

I was really pleased with the two bed cushions I bought - superior quality to others brands I have bought previously. On the first day both the dogs climbed into their beds to try them out and they both slept all afternoon, so that's a good review from them! Nicely padded and haven't flattened after being used for over a month with good quality fabric. Would definitely recommend. My only criticism was with the Amazon packaging not the product. They arrived in a very large cardboard box filled with masses of paper - totally unnecessary for soft dog bed cushions and filled up our recycling bin.

My pup seems to find this cushion comfortable. It's a nice design & a practical colour. I have washed it a few times & the stuffing has stayed nice & plump & not moved around.It's well made with a good depth, & would provide comfort & insulation on hard surfaces. If she grows out of it I'm sure the cats will take it over.
