These are versatile, and tend to last us a good long while; when they do break, it's sadly the little lock that holds them together, but we've only run through two that way over the years. They're great for whisking up mousses and such, thick things that tend to get stuck in the center of conventional whisks and have to be cleaned out. We use them more for this than their grabbing ability, truthfully, but they're decent for that as well, especially when dealing with hot potatoes, fries, jicama sticks, and the like.

This tool will make cooking things like sausage patties or links a breeze. And it also makes it simple to turn over even burgers or eggs.

I had a similar item before but it broke so I was looking for a replacement. The previous one had a spatula side and the open side that you see in this one. I couldn't find an exact match but I think I like this one better.

The tongs are of a great quality and easy to open and close depending on the task. Flipping is easy with the food between the tongs, eliminating splash back and keeping food items in tact.

So far, I like this product. This is a replacement for my previous one by another brand name, with squared instead of rounded wire "contact areas". That one cost about $5, and lasted 10 years - the ends came out and the plastic handle broke. This product works and works comparably in a similar fashion. I'm concerned that once the warranty expires, this is going to break in the same way, just earlier. PLEASE DON'T MISUNDERSTAND ME - I LIKE THIS PRODUCT AND IT WORKS WELL. I think I overpaid, and I'll be upset and disappointed if I will have overpaid AND it breaks prematurely.UPDATE:Well, I’ve had it for a while, and i’ve discovered that there are two things that are inferior in this product. First, the wire spatula part is not square like my previous one was. This does indeed lessen the functionality. Second, there is a middle flange that keeps getting stuck when I’m using them as tongs to flip a burger. Still, I continue to use them unless I need a more rigid flipper for heavier meats - like a steak.

This is the best accessory I have found for flipping bacon as it lets you actually grab it.

What I like about the tongs - they are good for turning and serving food in/from my air fryer, which is the reason I bought them. They turn a burger and a piece of fish easily and are great for serving roasted veggies. So far I do not have anything negative regarding the tongs.

The wire grippers are too floppy to grip anything heavy like a burger, a sausage or a lamb chop. They can just about handle a friend egg.

Was looking for a replacement for one I had before, for years. Allows you to hold irregularly shaped and multiple small pieces easily. Great for flipping salmon without it breaking up. Hold heavier things horizontally or they may slip. It would be terrific if it had a heavier gauge version for heavy things. One downside is that the clip to hold the two sides together for storage is flimsy.

I originally thought that I would only use this for mixing dry ingredients like in making bread but found it works great for picking up fried fish that would fall apart with conventional tongs. I'll probably find more uses as time goes on.

The handle is good, the locking mechanism is good. Whisk is ok, but it takes a bit of getting used to.
