We've owned several of these units over the years. We tend to move country quite a bit, so I always end up looking for this exact same model and buy it all over again. Now, we bought two of these, one for my son and one for me. They are comfortable, clean, strong, easy to assemble, and they don't make your room look smaller because they are clear glass. They are fantastic. Couldn't think of a better buy!

Putting the desk together took a little while because I was doing it by myself, but the instructions were very easy to follow. There are no directions on how to build it as two separate desks or how to put the keyboard tray on the other side, but it's easy to figure out how. I currently have the two desks side by side, but I like that I have the option to add the corner piece if I want. I also appreciate that they include extra screws in case you lose one. I almost got the black glass, but decided to go with the smoke because other reviews mentioned issues with fingerprints on the black glass. I'm so glad I went with the smoke; it looks awesome and it doesn't collect noticeable fingerprints. The keyboard tray is not big enough for the keyboard and a mouse, so that is a downside, but you can make the desk without it, or use it for some storage and reduce the clutter on top of the desk.

I bought this to upgrade from a plastic all in one desk. I must say I am impressed. From the first glance when I opened the package I wondered if it would be sturdy enough. After about 30 minute assembly by myself with only a couple glances at the Assembly guide which is superbly done by the way It was ready to set up, and I am a happy camper with my new Gaming/work area! I used the corner setup because my keyboard, mouse, and monitor take up a bit of space. I'm one to never use keyboard sliding drawers. I use it for laptop storage. I trust this $90 desk to hold up my $1200 PC, and it doesn't budge. The desk is very strong, it came all safe in one piece, and the styrofoam really isn't that big of a deal if you open it wisely. I should add too that I am 5'10' and my Noblechair, and I fit just perfectly under the desk, and I can stretch my feet out so it is the perfect height for me. I love the White as not only was it the cheapest option, but it looks nice, and won't look so dusty like black does. The ONLY negative thing I could say is that little suction cups holding glass down from sliding isn't the the most comforting idea. But I'm up against a wall so it's not a problem, and If you were really worried about it I'm sure there are many ways to DIY the glass to where it can't move (like gluing the suction cups to the glass) I should also mention that you can switch whatever side you want the keyboard slider to go, and the desk can be used as two separate smaller desks but would render the corner piece useless. The amount of freedom this setup gives you is awesome. For only $90 this is a STEAL. Coming from someone who isn't the biggest fan of glass desks this one gives me confidence. The quality, and value show. Don't hesitate, buy the damn thing lol

I had been looking for a decent desk for a long time. I needed something that would easily fit in my space and give me plenty of room for my equipment. This desk is perfect! I have my dual monitors set up on monitor stands, I have my laptop on the other side for work, I have my speakers, calculator and other items and there is still more than enough room for me to work comfortably. The keyboard tray is the one item that was a must have for me and it's perfect. The desk itself was fairly easy to put together. I would say it took a little less than an hour for me to do alone, but given all the parts I would say that was fairly quick. It is heavy because of the tempered glass, but that makes it very sturdy. I would highly recommend this desk and I would most certainly buy it again.

This desk really matches my drawing table, I went looking for an affordable desk at my local stores (office depot, office max, furniture outlets, ect.) because I wanted the desk asap and didn't want to wait for shipping. However, they were too big and too pricey. I think this desk was a good find. My husband put it together for me while I was at work. He had some difficulty putting it together and was frustrated with the instructions. But I came home to a beautiful desk. Small but fits perfectly for what I was looking for. It arrived sooner than the estimated delivery. Which was nice. It's sturdy, looks modern and simple. perfect for my art room. 5 stars because I have no complaints. I'm happy :)

I really like the way this desk looks and it's nice and functional for the price, but assembling it was kind of a pain-- not because it should have been difficult as the instructions are good and the pieces generally fit together without much fuss-- but because of manufacturing defects. The keyboard tray for example would require power tools to assemble properly with what I was given, as the bolt holes on the tray mounts were not placed properly to be able to mount to the frame-- it was literally impossible. I didn't really want a keyboard tray anyway so I just didn't install it. The feet on the legs had a similar issue. Most of them screwed in fine, but some of them the hole just wasn't quite lined up. So if you screwed em all in to the natural stop point, you'd have a lopsided desk. As a solution, I just screwed all the feet in about like 60%. I needed to use a spacer to ensure a consistent height on the feet, but it's perfectly stable this way as the feet don't strictly speaking need to screw in completely.
