I used to do this all the time
Well, I guess they either changed the batter mix or the metal on the rosette irons. It did not come out like I wanted. But I will continue to experiment until I get it right.

I couldn't find this product in stores, so I ordered it from Amazon, and it turned out perfect. When using, remember that you have to wipe out the oil from the surface of the iron, otherwise it will not work.
