DO NOT BUY THESE HARD DRIVES
Near to the end of a large premiere project when this thing packs in, with all the footage saved onto it. Took it down to a repair shop, they opened it up and explained to me that this drive in fact is not new, but a hard drive built in 2013 (with the lifespan of disk drives being no longer than 6/7 years), potentially ripped from an older computer, given this new shell and sold as an original product (see pictures). So yeah, probably a good idea to give these a miss.

Excellent speed
The media could not be loaded. Excellent speed with USB 3 connection. Works with android OTG and USB C hub so very useful for transferring from memory card to this HDD ( action cam or drone footage for example ). Plus colour matces my laptop colour. Thanks.

Great Extra Storage for PS4
Needed some extra storage for my Ps4 as I have the standard 500GB variant so additional storage is a must for games. I don't use it enough to warrant the 4TB model, however I have the 500 specifically for games and works seamlessly. Once formatted in the storage settings on the console the games are saved automatically to the hard drive and no lag for loading or saving and so far no errors. Great buy, purchased 2 more 160GB models to back up photographs from my photography business start up. I will review these seprerate, 500 GB is fantastic. Nice choice of colour to stand out or standard black to blend in with console. Reccomend 100%

Small, lightweight and fast.
It's a great little hard drive, I bought the 320 GB version and am happy that I did, i had to transfer all the pictures from my PC as I was recycling it. It reaches speeds of 20-37 mb/s when transferring solid files, doesn't overheat and doesn't produce much noise, you can barely hear the disc spinning. It's not heavy and feels sturdy. Haven't had any issues when transferring 220 gbs of files, took around 50 minutes. Just plug and play, no installation of software required.

Would be great if it worked
I bought this specifically to work as a recorder for my smart tv. It has to be formatted as FAT32 for this purpose and Windows 10 will not do that because the drive is too big. A third party tool had no problem formatting it to FAT32 but once done, neither of my smart TV's would recognise it as a recording drive. They'd happily browse the drive and play anything that was on there, but my cheap old USB stick does exactly the same. Oh well, I thought. Maybe I can use it as a media server on my Fibre modem box. I plugged it in there and I just got a constant wheezing, like a disk starting and stopping constantly. This drive has turned out to be absolutely useless. Great if I need to plug and play between PC's, but useless for the thing it was bought for, despite the compatibility stating that it is suitable for smart TV's.

Great option to expand space
Good value and brilliant performance laptop hard drive for its price, very fast ,smooth and silent. It is great option to expand space for saving my photos, simply connect to laptop and is currently working perfectly. I am very happy with it, many thanks!

Capacity not as advertised
Lightweight and Compact but the 320GB is actually just under 300GB, in fact 296GB to be exact. So a little dissapointed.
