Most of the work was cutting out the shapes, but there were also 4 mortises and 9 knife slots that had to be milled out. Snapped one bit very early in the process, but the second bit finished out the rest of the project with no issues (and no change in CNC settings), so I'm assuming that the first one had some sort of material flaw in it. I've purchased other HQMaster bits and had similar experience, so I'll be sticking with them for general use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Very good router bits. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2019* These are the only bits that i use.They last very well out of the bits that I have bought I have only broken one.I mainly use them on soft pine but have used them on Oak and other hardwood but I drive them extremely hard 100 ins per minute 30in/min down and .0032 each pass.They maintain their sharpness very well and I will get a production run of about 30 units per cutter. When I notice that the cut edge is becoming a little fuzzy I will change it out.As for the individual that complained that they were not 1/8 all the way down you have to have clearance down the sides of the cutter.It is not a fault of the cutter or the manufacturer it is by design. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice cutter! *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2020* This is a good bit with some specializations. Run this on a Shapeoko with a Bosch 1617. Feeds at 100IPM with a 3/8" DOC at full RPM. Works extremely well on thin plywood (1/4") as you do not need tape to hold the board down, since the cutter will not pull up like it will with spiral flutes. On thicker materials, such as 3/4" ply, you will wind up with a layer of compressed sawdust holding the part in place, which makes cleanup a touch more difficult, as in some instances a screwdriver is required to separate the dust from the cut, but the edge quality is extremely good.
