Yuna Kim: Ice Queen: Skate Stars Volume 2

Did not mention her herniated disc which is why she no longer performed a triple loop. Did not mention how the judges downgraded her triple flip triple toe combination saying she performed it on the wrong edge (which is false) and the way they emphasized the triple axel to try to place Asada above her. Did not mention the fact Yuna went through 5 pairs of skates in a year and at one time had to compete on an old left skate and a new right skate. Nor was the fact mentioned how sochi gold was stolen by corrupt judges for notorious flutzer sotnikova who ran out of there and immediately hugged one of the judges!!! I realize this was written before sochi but the way ISU has treated Yuna is beyond unconscionable. Russia runs the ISU. They don't call wrong edges, pre-rotation, or under rotation on their own skaters. They wanted that gold for Lipnitskaya, but she fell and so they gave 33 plus 5 GOEs to a kid like Sotnikova that did not earn them. Its a shame. I can't even watch figure skating after what they did in sochi. Long live the Queen. Suffering right foot injury, right ankle injury, and a herniated disc and still skated better than anyone else.

For those who are fans of Kim Yuna, this a book that doesn't add much knowledge, but it's a very pleasing book to read. It shows us the struggles and will of Yuna to keep on skating and to winthe olympic gold. For the youngsters it's a good book, who shows a role model.

It is a good overview of Kim Yu-Na's career and life.It is just disappointing that it is a kids book and that there is no adult biography of Kim Yu-Na

I liked it because it was fascinating to see such accomplishments. I disliked how it was presented. It was sorta dry .... just telling of these events not actually showing more details.

Book was too short

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I heard that it is impossible to get in United States but you have one! so I bought it! I appreciate it!

It is the best book I ever read . The book is specific. It tell me every thing. My favorite book.
