KESOL Compact Expandable Over The Sink Dish Drying Rack, Small Dish Rack

I purchased this dish drying rack in 2020 and I still have it today (2026). It actually lasts! Heavy duty, daily use, expandable to fit over the sink or just on the counter. This product delivers and I would buy it again for myself and gift it to others. It's that good.

Just got this to fit into my new Kraus workstation sink, it's an excellent fit and looks good. It's perfect for my needs. Wanted to comment on the one video showing that this dish rack is magnetic, and therefore they thought it was not real stainless steel. I don't think that is accurate. First off, some stainless steel is magnetic, some isn't, so that is not a conclusive test. Also, this rack is only 'slightly to moderately' magnetic, it is obviously not as magnetic as a piece of steel or cast iron. I also tested some of my stainless cookware, and they are magnetic (including the lids, which are not clad). My cookware is old, and has never rusted. So, that magnet test doesn't tell you anything. You can buy this rack with confidence that it is well-made, and stainless, as described.

This product came highly rated from several 3rd party sites. It fits my sink perfectly and serves the purpose for which it was intended. However, it is not as sturdy as what I anticipated. Perhaps my unit got warped somehow during assembly/packing/shipping (box was intact at arrival), but it does not set level on my counter when the arms are extended to hold it suspended over the sink. It ends up resting on the metal arms versus the rubber bumpers on the arms. I ended up cutting the rubber bumpers in half and sliding them over the corners of the arms so the metal is not in direct contact with my new granite counter top. The unit still does not set level, but it is functional. Also, one of the arms starts closing by itself with minimal, normal use jostling. I have to be aware to keep re-extending it to prevent the whole unit from falling into the sink (hasn't happened yet). I may tinker with it some more to see if I can resolve that. I might buy this unit again, provided it doesn't rust, unless I were to find something sturdier. For buying sight unseen, it's fine. I hope to not need to purchase another in my lifetime.

We have a big single basin kitchen sink and this fits perfectly over one side while still giving us plenty of sink space. The adjustable/expandable ends ensure that it always fits and stays where we want it. It is small, so if you have large dishes, they may not fit perfectly sideways. This is also not big enough for pots and pans. It’s perfect for a couple of side plates, cups, bowls and silverware.

We recently replaced our old sink and got a "60/40" stainless steel sink. I wanted a drainer to fit into the smaller, shallower part of the sink, not sit on top of/over the sink. It never occurred to me that it would be difficult to find a dish drainer that would fit into the smaller side of the sink. We ordered this one on our third try. This drainer is perfect and I am so happy with the size. I use it when I am hand washing a few things like cups, glasses, smaller plates (it does not accommodate larger dinner plates) and some silverware. Since it expands, it could fit over the sink, but even then does not accommodate larger plates. But that's ok, it's just what I need.

Doing a kitchen upgrade, and replaced my existing sink with a substantially deeper model. Historically I’ve had dish strainers that sat on the bottom of the sink, eventually leading to rust marks and stains. This unit, while being very light weight has impressed me so far. Easily expanded to fit the wider sink, easily cleaned with predominantly just the sprayer, yet surprisingly stronger than expected. On several occasions I’ve loaded it with multiple pots and pans, and it’s held nicely. I generally prefer to wash and dry pots/pans in the sink, while reserving the dishwasher for dish ware and serving ware only. If I just HAD to find an issue, the strainers for cutlery are a little narrow if you want to leave higher volumes of cutlery or cooking utensils, but honestly, that’s just nitpicking.

Bought but returned. It did fit in the small side of my 60/40 sink but it was just way too small for our family of two. I found another option from the company that made my sink. And if I have have a ton of dishes. I keep a rubber mat and full size strainer under the cupboard to pull out when needed

When I purchase my new counters and sink I purchased the large rack that goes at the bottom of the sink. After a few months of struggling with it ... I put it in my garage because it's too heavy and awkward. This is much more efficient - it gives me a place to drain the cat dishes and to put my scrubbers in. When I rinse out the sink, the water goes underneath this rack, and everything goes down the drain without getting stuck on anything. When I want to clean / scrub the sink I just lift this light weight rack out and put it right back in when finished. I would love to know if you can order an extra Silverware holder and more sets of the rubber feet (although they did give me 2 extra in the bag which was surprisingly wonderful). I love it!

Great purchase

The dish rack itself seems sturdy and made out of quality material. It fits my little sink perfectly. However, the compartment for the cutlery arrived bent and disfigured (as in the photos), which was very disappointing. Clearly a faulty item was provided to me.

I love that it can be placed over the sink, because it is small it doesn't hold too many things, I knew that before buying it so I expected it

It fits on my sink. The extending handles work nicely so that my dishes are high above the sink. Space for air circulation makes dishes dry faster!

Love it. It can be placed either on the floor of my sink or elevated, depending on what I need.
